T. J., a contracted pilot for the border patrol sees some disturbing traffic and witnesses a murder. The arms smuggler has a vendetta, and her life is in danger. Trace is sent to protect her family.

Old acquaintances and family squabbles complicate things and add a guessing game to the mix. Who is reporting on their every move? There are plenty of intense moments of cat and mouse, run for your life, and other sweet romantic gestures between T. J. and Trace. The characters are well-developed and relatable. 

The story has some unexpected moments, and everything is wrapped up nicely at the end.  A well written on the edge of your seat read.
