My Review

The first book in the series and the first I've read from this author. I have to say I was thoroughly entertained by the genre set in 1832. I loved the character of Clarissa and her fondness for the horses at Lockwood Manor.

With a new set of circumstances befalling the family, Clarissa finds herself looking for a suitor in order to save the manor. The storyline is exciting, with a sense of mystery and danger. It kept me turning the pages and wondering what would happen next.

I can't wait to read the next one in the series. I'm definitely a fan of the author and highly recommend it.

I was given a complimentary copy by the author and willingly choose to review it.
