Southern belle, Paige Murray, lives on a working cattle ranch in Texas with her daughter Oakley and husband Ty Murray, 9X World Champion Cowboy and co-founder of the Professional Bull Riders. In addition to 500 mama cows, 10 bulls and 8 horses, Paige added 5 cats, 3 dogs, 3 donkey's, a mini horse, a peacock, 2 turkeys, 2 guinea birds, a hamster, a rabbit, 2 rats, a bunch of chickens, a pig and a sheep to the TY Ranch.

MY THOUGHTS ON THE BOOK

Rosie's Ranch Rescue is another wonderfully written book about being brave, even when you don't feel like it. Oakley and her horse, Rosie, help fight off coyotes that are threatening the ranch animals. Even Thumbs, the cat, gets in on the action.

It's a story of adventure, family, courage, and empathy. Oakley shows how family works together. The illustrations are well-drawn, and the color is bright, conveying a lot of emotion. The illustrations complement the easy-to-read storyline well.
